A travertine cylinder mounted directly against the ceiling, topped with a thin wooden ring. The beige stone, marbled with white veins and dotted with small cavities, occupies nearly the entire visual volume. The wood protrudes by only a few centimeters, like a discreet cap that secures the fixture.

The Travertine & Wood Ceiling Light Otium takes its name from the Latin word for "rest," a nod to the tranquility of the Mediterranean interiors that inspired its short, solid form.

The bulb remains visible from below, nestled at the heart of the hollow cylinder. The light bounces off the stone's inner walls, which take on a warm honey hue when illuminated, reminiscent of Tuscan façades in the setting sun. Its twelve-centimeter diameter and ten-centimeter height allow it to blend discreetly into rooms with limited ceiling height. The piece adds texture and character where a standard spotlight would have said nothing.
