Lipari - Travertine & Wood Pendant light
Product details
A light wood sphere set on a travertine disc. The sphere, carved from wood with visible veining and an open grain, rests on a beige stone ring dotted with natural cavities. The contrast is immediately apparent: smooth curves against raw texture, warm wood against porous mineral.
The Travertine & Wood Pendant Light Lipari takes its name from one of the Aeolian Islands off the coast of Sicily, whose sea-polished volcanic pebbles evoke this balance of rounded shapes resting on stone.
The travertine ring flares slightly toward the bottom, forming a kind of flattened pebble. Inside, the light source remains hidden, while the light escapes through the lower opening in a diffused beam. In a room, the object draws the eye with its compact silhouette and unusual visual balance.
A pendant light in pale travertine and solid wood
Its fifteen-centimeter diameter and low height make it suitable for spaces where visual presence is desired without taking up too much vertical space. The travertine and wood light fixture works on its own above a console, as a pair on either side of a bed, or in an asymmetrical arrangement above a long table.

A natural stone light fixture for wabi-sabi and Japandi interiors
Travertine belongs to a family of limestone used since Roman times. Its porosity, irregularities, and sandy hue give it a tactile quality rarely found in lighting. Paired with unstained pale wood, it fits naturally into Japandi, Scandinavian, or wabi-sabi interiors. In a kitchen, this travertine light fixture works beautifully above an oak, marble, natural stone, brushed stainless steel, or ceramic countertop. Above a dining table, it complements seating in solid wood, leather, linen, or patinated metal without weighing down the composition.
In a bedroom, suspended beside the bed in place of a bedside lamp, it frees up the nightstand and casts a soft light toward the floor. The stone retains its rough texture, cavities, and slightly irregular sandy color. The pale wood reveals its growth rings and grain. Two textures in a single object.
